HELICOPTER: Our Meadows of Dan, VA hotel has an exclusive relationship with Summit Helicopters of Roanoke, Virginia. Summit offers four and six-seat Bell Ranger and Jet Ranger aircraft. GROUND TRANSPORTATION Ground transportation can be arranged through Primland reservations. Fees vary, but we are also happy to help with rental car reservations.

Primland’s altitude and the unusual clarity of our night sky present our guests with the ideal environment for stargazing. At the top of our mountain, far from city lights and distractions, guests have a romantic opportunity to enjoy some of the East Coast’s best stargazing and to study planets, nebulae and amazing celestial objects. Primland features a Celestron CGE Pro 1400 series telescope in our Observatory Dome.
